All About Chhalaang Movie
Chhalaang is an upcoming Hindi comedy film. The word Chhalaang means “jump” in Hindi. The film is directed by Hansal Mehta. Also, Ajay Devgn, Luv Ranjan, Ankur Garg produced this film jointly. The film cast our all-time favorite Rajkumar-Rao as the male lead actor as well as Nushrat Bharucha as the female lead actress. Chhalaang movie is getting shot in a village of Uttar Pradesh, India. “Turram Khan” was the first name of the film but for some reason, Hansal chose Chhalaang over it.
The trailer of the film hasn’t been released yet but according to a source, Rajkumar-Rao is acting on the role of a P.T. teacher of a semi government-funded school in Northern India. He doesn’t seem to be a fan of teaching as he lies down on a chair and sleeps, according to the poster released lately. However, Nushrat, on the other hand, is portrayed as an active and attentive character. As is standing next to him while staring at him. The message of the film is to spread awareness about the importance of physical education. Director Hansal is popular for his socially aware films.
Release Date and Marketing
The film is set to be released on March 13, 2020. However, the production released a poster of Chhalaang featuring Rao and Nushrat including some students surrounding Rao. While Rajkumar is sleeping on the chair, everyone is staring at him.
Actor:
Rajkumar Rao will be acting as the lead actor named “Montu”. Nushrat Bharucha will be acting as a lead female actress named “Neelu”. Zeeshan Ayyub will also be acting in this Chhalaang movie. However, the rest of the cast is kept hidden by the production team. As the trailer has not been released yet no one knows who else will be in the cast.
Rao said that he trusts Hansal Mehta blindly and he also knows Nushrat, hence he believes that it will be a fun collaboration. ”Turram Khan is a comedy that the audience will take back home. Hansal sir has played an instrumental role in my career. He has created some interesting and memorable characters for me, and I trust him blindly. Also, I have known Nushrat since our days of attending auditions and screen tests. So, I am sure that this is going to be a fun collaboration,” he said.
Production of Chhalaang Movie
On 10 August 2018, Hansal Mehta announced: ” Turram Khan ” starring Rajkumar Rao as the lead role and Nushrat Bharucha as the opposite. Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub joined the cast as a side role In June 2019. In December 2019 the film’s name changed to “Chhalaang” for some reason. However, Rajkummar and Ayyub were seen with director Hansal near Mumbai’s Film City.
The main production of the film started in late 2018. The film is set to be released on March 13, 2020. Ajay Devgan posted a poster in his twitter account about Chhalaang and titled the poster ” Lambi Chhalaang Ke Liye, Lambi Neend Zaroori Hai! Releasing on 13th March.”
