YouTube expanded the availability of its YouTube Stories feature for creators, which allows them to share photos and videos with viewers (both subscribers and non-subscribers) that will remain visible in the YouTube mobile application for seven days. So far, this feature is only available for eligible creators with more than 10,000 subscribers. If you qualify, our guide will show you how to create and share a Stories post on your channel.

Step 1: Tap the camera icon at the top of the screen.
Step 2: Tap “Story” at the bottom of the screen
Step 3: Tap or tap and hold the capture button at the bottom of the screen to take a new photo or video, respectively. You can also tap the camera roll icon in the bottom-left corner of the screen to import an existing photo or video from your device. Note: You can tap the circular arrows in the bottom-right corner of the screen to switch between your device’s front- and rear-facing cameras
